Our Story
On The Rocks is a family-owned operation on Main Street in the small rural town of Worden, Montana, just 25 minutes east of Billings, Montana. Owners John & Debi Goggins live just a short 10 miles away from this establishment on the Vermilion Angus Ranch, a place in which John grew up and he and Debi continue to live. This is the reason why Certified Angus Beef (CAB) is the main beef of choice on the menu…(But, BREAKING NEWS…Vermilion Ranch Beef will soon be coming to the menu here at On The Rocks.)
John is the publisher and owner of the Western Ag Reporter, a weekly livestock newspaper that has been in business since 1940 and is now nationally recognized as one of the longest-running weekly single- family-owned weekly livestock publications in America. John & Debi’s daughter Machaela is the Circulation & Classifieds Manager at the Western Ag Reporter and son Zack is partners with John & Debi in their family real estate company (The Goggins Company) and their electric bike company (elec-TREX).
Owning a restaurant was the dream of Debi Goggins ever since her and John married in 1993. John finally lost out and now Debi finally has her restaurant!
